Who says you need to leave town to have a good time?? We had an absolute BLAST hanging around town doing things that we normally don't do. We had picnics in the living room (because this is Utah...heaven forbid it be hot & sunny over spring break), made glurch (I'll post the fun recipe at some point), we went to the aquarium in Sandy twice, went bowling (which was super amusing-luckily no bowling balls fell on little toes), out to lunch with good friends, and Kangaroo zoo...oh and we went swimming at the Legacy Center (indoor pool-remember...yucky weather-no pics-what kind of mom am I??)...I don't think there was anything the kids wanted to do that we didn't (except for a park day...remember...yucky weather...I'm not bitter or anything;)) And the best part was...that I didn't feel stressed or feel like I should be doing laundry or cleaning...I knew that this was my week to live it up with my kids...and we did!
PS...since my little scrapbooking weekend (thanks Digital Scrapbook Memories), I've been trying different layouts...It's probaby the biggest change that I realized that weekend. It's been fun...still not that into photoshop (no on has convinced me yet...in fact, I'm thinking of doing a speed scrap contest with photoshop vs memory mixer...let me know if you are interested!), but I did realize that my layouts needed alot of help.
