So most of you know how I love Memory Mixer...and I'm not very good friends with Photoshop...we just don't get along...our communication is horrible!
But this weekend I went to a Scrapbook weekend and all we did was Photoshop...the entire reason I looked for reasons to do Photoshop over Memory Mixer....and my conclusion was....Memory Mixer is still easier and more user friendly. I did ask one scrapper to convince me why and she said that she likes to be more creative and learn new things...me too...but no time for that...I'm still behind. I think that I can still be just as creative in Memory Mixer, but just a lot faster. I do think that their is a place for Photoshop...to change colors of elements or paper or whatnot-which I relearned this weekend...But I still love my Memory Mixer.
I was proud that I created two entire layouts in Photoshop (remember...we're not very good friends)...and we got along great! Maybe it is that I have a newer version now...or maybe I'm just a little smarter (maybe some of the brain cells I lost when I had my boys are starting to come back!)...whatever it was...Photoshop wasn't that mean this weekend.
But all in all it was a super fun weekend. I loved hanging with Michelle W. and not having anything else to do than scrapbook....and shop and eat...So until next year...It's still Memory Mixer for me..until someone can convince me otherwise (and it will take a lot of convincing)!
PS...I know that there are a lot of you out there that could care less about scrapbooking...just disregard this post...but look at the pages of the cute kids!

You pages turned out great! I am with you on Elements vs Memory Mixer - I love Elements but I just am not good at it and not fast. I will stick with MM for most of what I do. And it was a GREAT weekend. I think we should go again in a couple of months!
Cute pages. I am with you, the easier the better!
