Makenna was READY for second grade ALL summer long. She loves school. She kept saying "mom, most kids were so excited for school to be out...but I'm so excited for school to start!" Everything about the beginning of school was exciting. She came home from gymnastics Tuesday night, as giddy as can be. She loved the "decorations" that I put up while she was gone. She even remembered what she wrote on the table "chalkboard" last year (I love traditions) and then drew a cute picture of her teacher! She came home from school saying "THAT WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!" Very cute! I love teachers that make school so fun! So now we are onto day #2...and she informed me that yesterday was "WAY FUNNER"...but it was still fun! It will be fun to see what she learns this year!

enjoy it while you can! parker came home sayinghe had a bad day b/c his teacher is mean, she gave them homework already and she has a time-out table (he's a little drama!), and that he wants to be home-schooled. good one! and he thinks SHE'S mean?! ;)
