I needed something new...I couldn't stand looking at those V-day pages anymore...these are much better...more me:)
It just so happens that it was my birthday....Have I ever told you how I felt about birthdays...well...I think they are (or should be) the most celebrated day of the year...They are the day you were born...a lot went into that day, that moment, and all the moments up until then...so why not celebrate...right?? I agree...and I did. I had the best birthday EVER...On my actual birthday...I was just a mom...did mom things like eat breakfast in bed (ok not normal, but should be), get kids ready for school, go on a fieldtrip with the cutest 3 year old boys EVER, eat in-n-out at school with Makenna and the boys (it was MY birthday and I wasn't about to eat school lunch!), take Kenna to gymnastics, go to dinner at Tepanyaki and wait FOREVER for food, and ended the night with my Laurals from church in a big birthday celebration...it was crazy busy...oh and then the Fun...the next night (when things calmed down a bit), I went out with my girlfriends to dinner and a chick-flick (not the best one I've ever seen, but good enough for frozen junior mints and popcorn-oh and no kids-and thank goodness no husbands, they would have murdered us for taking them to that movie;))...
So Thank you EVERYONE for knowing how I felt about birthdays...and making mine ABSOLUTELY amazing!
