I have a feeling that this is just the beginning of many more gymnastic meet pages...but it's fun to see Makenna's progress. And this meet was special...she was sooo excited that one of her best friends, Ella came to watch her. I'm pretty sure that's why she did so great! Poor Ella was a bit bored, but she loved it when Makenna was finally performing! And Makenna did great! It was one of her best meets thus far...she improved on almost every score. She has worked super hard to get better. Her goal was to get a 10.2...when I explained that that was impossible, and even Olympic gymnasts don't score 10.0 (except for Mary Lou Retton-I think)...that didn't stop her from trying! When we were leaving the meet, she said "I'm really proud of myself"...and she should be! Way to go Kenna!
