I must say that I wasn't thrilled about Makenna going off to school ALL day EVERY day...as the summer came to an end, I would get teary eyed at the thought of letting someone else take care of my little princess for most of the day...but when your cute little girl loves it...it's hard to hate it...ok so I still hate it, I'm just thankful that Makenna LOVES it...and I still have the boys to keep me busy enough...Maybe I'll actually get them fully potty trained now...FINALLY...we'll see! Anyway...We had fun with back to school. I put black butcher paper on the table for dinner and after they ate their super special back to school dinner they got to color with chalk on the "chalk board"...they thought it was really fun! And we all took her to school the next morning. We could tell that she was a little nervous, but she didn't let anyone know. And when she got home, she was all talk about how cool first grade is..."and tomorrow" she said..."I want to buy school lunch!" So here's to great teachers that love our kids...and kids who love their teachers!

Where has the time gone? It just seems like last year when we were building our houses with just baby Alyssa and now she's in 4th and Tay and Kenna are in 1st, you are potty training the twins and my baby is in preschool 4 days a week! Wow how time flies. So glad for such good friends to share it with!
